Why research wireless technologies?
Everything runs wireless! From our phones to our cars to even our appliances, wireless devices operate everywhere, anywhere, and at all times. With the never-ceasing growth of wireless devices, it is important that we develop new low-power and resource-efficient hardware and signaling techniques to sustain growth. Once we do so, we can unlock new avenues and applications for wireless communications, sensing, and identification.
Current Research Projects
- Low-cost integrated sensing and communications with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) devices
- More TBA!
Past Research Projects
- Higher-order modulation with tunnel diode backscatter communications devices
- Hardware-intrinsic harmonic identification with tunnel diodes
Facilities
Stay tuned! Currently, the Wake Wireless Research Group is setting up its RF lab in Wake Downtown.
